Philippa Panayiotou
Licensed Mental Health Counselor 

Philippa specializes in treatment of OCD, Eating disorders and other fear based disorders. She earned her masters in counseling psychology and education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2017 and completed an internship at Mount Sinai Partial Hospitalization Program. She has worked in substance use clinics, focused on providing mental health services to those seeking recovery with comorbid diagnoses. She was a senior staff clinician and supervising clinician for 5 years at The Reeds Center for Anxiety and OCD working with adults, adolescents, and their families. 

Philippa has extensive training utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for OCD (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT and ACT for Anorexia Nervosa, and Trauma), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT.)  She is also a national board certified counselor, which denotes voluntarily meeting national high standards of counseling. 

When not practicing therapy, you can find Philippa cooking, reading, or watching The Great British Bake Off.
